Gillian Beth Durkee (she/her) is a Seattle-born playwright/screenwriter and an alumna of EST/Youngblood. She has worked with Ensemble Studio Theatre, Sam French OOB Festival, Normal Ave, The Tank, The Workshop Theater, Project Y, The Bellwether Project, Current Harbor, Rhapsody Collective, PTP/NYC, In the Water Theatre Company, Tiny Rhino, Matthew Corozine Studio Theatre, and Middlebury College.


Awards: Alfred P. Sloan screenwriting grant recipient, Sanguine Project Playwright finalist, Sam French OOB finalist, three-time O’Neill NPC semifinalist.


Residencies and conferences: Sewanee Writers Conference; In the Water Block Island guest artist.


Gillian also sings and arranges a cappella with Treble NYC, with whom she appeared in the film How to be Single.
